Notetaking | grammar

An idea inspired by Cornell’s notetaking method.

Aim: To help students personalise the target structure & revise it after some time.

 

On the left – icons/pics that represent:

– student’s own sentence (using the target structure)

– a pic that will represent their sentence

– form

– when they’ll use the target structure

– substitution table

 

On the right – space to write the above.

 

At the bottom, there is space for 3 more personalised sentences.

Students are to come back to this target structure in a week, 2 weeks, and a month.

Unless you decide on different periods, of course.

Just be specific about when they need to revisit this note when you give them the instructions.
